The origin of "CHÂTEAU TOURRIL" goes back to the "Stone of Tourril", a roman tower at the top of a hill. The vineyard emerges from a natural circus from where one can escape for quiet moments.
Bought in 1998, this 13 hectares AOP-AOC MINERVOIS" is classified vineyard has received heavy investments to modernize it with the latest technology . It is located in the South of France close to the "Canal du Midi" (UNESCO World Heritage List) between Carcassonne (World Heritage List) and the ancient gallo-roman capital Narbonne. The clay-limestone soil is well drained by rains and protected by surrounding hills from winds and frost.
Quality and tradition are the main characteristics of our wines.
